Annick Gillard-Bailetti, Founder and Principal Consultant
Annick is a highly experienced international development professional with a comprehensive background spanning twenty years across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to the development sector, working to address various challenges and promote sustainable development. With her expertise in designing and managing multi-million-dollar, gender-transformative programs, Annick has gained profound insights into the vulnerabilities experienced by women and girls, including the disproportionate impact of climate change on their lives.
Annick excels in program design, proposal development, monitoring, evaluation, and learning, as well as private-public partnerships and research. She possesses strong cross-sectoral technical expertise and a background in Gender Equality and Inclusion. She specializes in Climate Change Adaptation, including carbon market expertise and Nature-based Solutions for marine and coastal conservation and management. By integrating these diverse areas of expertise, Annick creates holistic and impactful strategies that address the complex challenges at the intersection of climate change and development.
Throughout her career, Annick has collaborated with esteemed organizations such as Plan International, Save the Children Canada, CARE, Alinea International, and the Education Development Center (EDC), leading the technical development of high-value proposals and managing multidisciplinary teams. She collaborates closely with government agencies, multilateral institutions, foundations, and private sector donors to secure funding for gender-responsive and climate-resilient initiatives.
In addition to her fluency in English, Annick is also proficient in French and Spanish, enabling her to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders from various cultural backgrounds.
